Heartburn or pyrosis is a painful or burning sensation in the esophagus, just below the breastbone caused by regurgitation of gastric acid. The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw. Heartburn is also identified as one of the causes of chronic cough, and may even mimic asthma. Despite its name, heartburn actually has nothing to do with the heart. It is so called because of a burning sensation of the breastbone where the heart is located although some heart problems do have a similar sensation to heartburn. Compounding the confusion is the fact that hydrochloric acid from the stomach comes back up the esophagus because of a problem with the cardiac sphincter, a valve which misleadingly contains the word "cardiac" (an adjective referring to the heart) in its name.

How to Cure Heartburn Easily

I wanted to talk to you about how to cure heartburn. There are a lot of people that have this problem, but there are other people that get it way too often. It happens so much that it becomes painful for people. What a lot of people don't understand is that there is physical damage occurring to your esophagus. Your stomach acid creates heartburn and that acid is so strong that it can break down meats. When it gets into your esophagus, it will literally burn it away and if it persists over time, your esophagus will disappear. I'm going to talk to you about how to cure heartburn.

The key to avoiding this problem is learning to tame your stomach acids. They're supposed to stay in your stomach where they belong, but for some reason they're not. One of the main reasons this happens is due to physical restraints. People that eat big meals fill up their stomach and there's just less space available. This causes stomach acid to rise and get into the esophagus. If this is the case, you have to start eating smaller meals more often. This will keep your acids much more balanced.

I want to show you how to cure heartburn. There is another reason that acids can get out of the stomach and that's just general volatility. This can be caused by a number of foods, but there is a way to calm it. Vinegar has natural enzymes that will balance out the stomach acids, so all you have to do is get vinegar based products on your food. This could be salad dressing or ketchup.
